It was after the Trillian wars. The date was 2879 AD, Earth and Vulcan were no more. They were decimated by an unknown force from huge air ships, that took away millions of people right out of their immediate environments. There was no anti-christ as Christians talked about that would come. Maybe it was not yet time.
During the battles a remnant of the Jews, Christians and Easterners who lived in London, England, escaped by using what was a new technology,gramography. It was able to take the spirit of each person,(48 Grams) a technology discovered by the Russians, and transport us to another dimension. In all about 10 tons of spirit were transported. All they had to do to be transported with the packet was to walk into the football stadium sized domed enclosure. It took about nine hours for the brave souls to take a chance.
Where we are now, we do not know. All that we do know is that we are happy for now.
We strive not against ourselves but live in harmony. Food is plentiful (we do eat, but there is no full digestion). The Vulcans have changed though. They now act like earthlings in showing emotions, but they are still their logical selves. About two thousand Vulcans left with us. Our scientists estimate that we may be in the far western quadrant of what was the world of Alpha Tarsis. Tarsis was a recently discovered world that had the attributes of earth, but it had not been proven thus far.
The gramogrophy accelerator according to Lars Heinmann, a scientist with the project, said that experimentally, the device ran a matrix across the expanding universe and put us in many places before we arrived safely here. In essence, we may have been in transit for centuries or days, before the phot-voltaic ran gramogrophy accelerator sensed the perfect conditions. The cells had tentacles that ran underground for miles around the city so that energy could be collected even if some components were destroyed. Another core was drilled to the magma, so that heat energy could be used. It was called the Octopus Project. The Trillian wars did not destroy the underground stadium because the Trillians stayed in the air and took shots at us all. They were interested in our metals for mining and did not need us. Only kill us. The millions taken were for training and to be used as lobotamized like drones. Well enough of them.
You may however, be wondering how we found out about their motives. A Vulcan/Earth space station intercepted and decoded a message from one ship to another. It said, " Ith nact booni kay ta ji". Translated, this means take the prisoners to Ji (ship) for programming. Another message said, "Ip koth be hagi du mindo batva." or move fast so we mine ores. Both planets were prime targets. On Vulcan they never had a chance because they were totally philosophers by then.
We were, by the grace of God, able to live on another good planet. We re-named Tar to Terra Firma and called our first city Eden. Adam was elected as first Mayor of Eden. As you guessed there were more Christians and Jews than the other. Adam just happen to be the man who rounded up the peolple in London. While we are only spirit, our bodies look the same as before, except that after five years, no one person had developed a single illness.
We only hope that the malevolent force that destroyed Earth and Vulcan never finds us. A number of scientists began in earnest to record all of their accumulated knowledge so that we may progress and learn more.
It is funny that the Christians still hear from the Holy Spirit and they say we are safe for now, for we are hidden from all eyes. The Jews are still waiting for their Messiah and the Easterners still follow Buddah or Hindi Gods. There is lots of work to be done and new lives to develop. Churches of all faiths are going up everywhere.
